Justin Buck - Manager of Corporate Sponsorships at Carolina Hurricanes and PNC Arena
Justin Buck currently resides and works in Raleigh as the Manager of Corporate Sponsorships at the Carolina Hurricanes and PNC Arena. With this position, he communicates with consumer based companies that are looking to improve their brand awareness and focuses on getting their image/message to fans. He graduated from NCSU with a double major in Sport Management and Finance, and he started his career in sport with the Charlotte Bobcats as an Account Executive. He then went to work for the Tampa Bay Rays as a Suites and Corporate Sponsorships executive for almost two years. Next, Justin worked for Sporting Kansas City as a Business Development Manager focused on Corporate Sponsorships, and after a year in Kansas City, he took his current position with the Hurricanes.
Justin Wilson - Assistant Director of Athletics Communications at NC State University
Justin Wilson is in his 5th year with NC State serving as the Assistant Director of Athletics Communications. His responsibilities include serving as the primary media relations and communications contact for the volleyball softball, baseball and rifle teams. Wilson serves as the primary NC State Athletics liaison between assigned sport programs and national, regional and local media, as well as the public. He also writes and releases a high volume of sports publications and other materials as directed to the appropriate media, conference and national offices and websites. Wilson began his career in the field as a student at NC State from 2007-2012. While at NC State Wilson was a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Student Government, and the Black Students Board. He worked as a Customer Service Representative at University Recreation from 2008-2011 and as a Student Assistant for the NCSU Media Relations Office from 2009-2012. After graduating Wilson worked as a Media Relations Assistant, responsible for women’s gymnastics, swimming and diving and men’s tennis before taking his current job.
Casey Godwin- Director of Game Operations at NC State University
Casey Godwin joined the Game Operations staff in September 2017. Prior to her arrival at NC State she had a year and a half stint at UNCW as the Director of Facilities and Event Management. With this job she oversaw scheduling, and day to day operations of all the athletic facilities and buildings. Godwin was able to oversee many facility enhancement projects at UNCW, and was in charge of supervising a multitude of staff members in the Facilities department. She was also in charge of overseeing a 20 plus student intern program within the department. While at UNCW Casey also worked on several committees. Casey was the representative of the facilities and event management department on the Title IX Athletic committee. Prior to working at UNCW Godwin worked as the Assistant director of Facilities and Events in Charlotte.
Amanda Dinkel- Community Relations Manger for the Atlanta Falcons
Amanda Dinkel is a graduate of NC State with a degree in Sport Management as well as a Minor in Journalism. Upon graduating from NC State she worked as a community relations intern for the Indianapolis Colts, as well as the Carolina Panthers. In March of 2015 she accepted a full time position as the Community Relations Coordinator for the Atlanta Falcons. In March of she was promoted to the Community Relations Managerfor the Atlanta Falcons, a position which she currently holds. She has also served on the Super Bowl XLIX public relations staff, where she specifically worked PR events for the Seattle Seahawks and Rodger Goodell throughout the event.
Aaron Bessey- Associate Athletic Director for Marketing and Promotions at Lenoir-Rhyne
Aaron Bessey serves as the Associate Athletic Director for Marketing and Promotions at Lenoir-Rhyne University in Hickory, North Carolina. His role entails setting up sponsorships and promoting partners of the university. He previously worked at Georgia State University as Athletic Director of Marketing, helping to assist the team's transition to Turner Field and improve the overall game day environment. Prior to that role, Mr. Bessey ran the Mountaineers Kids Club at Appalachian State University as the Athletic Marketing Assistant and later Assistant Director of Promotions and Fan Engagement. He graduated in 2013 from North Carolina State University with a B.S. in Sport Management and minors in Business Administration and Law and Justice.
David Wolfe- Assistant Director of Premium Sales at UCF
David has been in the sport industry for 6 years, full time, but has worked every football season in some sort of capacity since 2011. He graduated from Slippery Rock University in 2013 with a double major in Sport Management and Communication. He previously worked for The Aspire Group at Rutgers Athletics as a retention representative and the Pittsburgh Steelers as a Ticket Sales and Retention Account Executive before moving to his current position as Assistant Director of Premium Sales for UCF Athletics. He started there in July of 2017.
